I live out of state (RI) and my husband and I are buying our first property in Florida (Kissimmee). We will be using it both for a vacation rental investment, as well as, our getaway house until we are able to permanently move down to Florida. Making sure everything is in place before purchasing, from so far away, is very anxiety producing, however, between our real estate agent and Joe from BAA Inspections, things have been SO MUCH less stressful! Joe was and is extremely responsive, both by text and email, after an initial phone call. He is friendly and personable and explained everything he would be doing in full detail. He was flexible with his time to accommodate the seller's schedule. Since I wasn't able to be present the day of the inspection, my real estate agent met him there; and within a couple of hours of finishing the inspection, I received an extremely thorough inspection report in my email, complete with not only pictures, but short videos and recommendations and referrals! It was kind of (dare I say) fun to look at! Afterwards, he followed up with additional emails and resources, offers an ongoing program to help with your home ownership and helped guide me through what to ask from the current homeowners.
